In a landmark hearing held on Friday 2nd March 2012 at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, a 32 year old downs syndrome woman Hollie Greig requested permission to appeal against the ruling last summer of a Royal Courts of Justice Family Division judge that she lacked 'capacity' to make litigation decisions for herself about her life.
